Shipping Policy

Should you purchase an item or items from this website, you are agreeing to comply and be bound by the following Shipping Policy:

Orders received by 2.00pm are normally dispatched the same day for next day delivery (excluding weekends and public holidays). 

Risk in the goods shall pass to the customer immediately on delivery. Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk, all goods supplied shall remain the property of GTO Parts until the customer has paid off all outstanding sums due to GTO Parts, and not only the sums due under this invoice. GTO Parts reserves the right to enter the customer's premises to retrieve the goods in the event of any default in payment.

Delivery times quoted by GTO Parts are estimates only and GTO Parts shall not be held liable for any consequential loss or damage resulting from any failure to meet estimated times.

Consideration for damage to, or shortage of, goods in transit will only be given if written notification is received within 2 days of receipt by the customer of such goods. Packing materials in which goods were received should be kept for inspection. Where there is apparent damage to boxes or packaging, the consignment should be opened and examined in the presence of the carrier or, where this is not possible, the carrier's delivery documentation should be amended to read "box damaged - goods unchecked" before the goods are signed for.

Claims for non-delivery of goods will only be considered if notification is received in writing within 7 days of the invoice date.

GTO Parts arrange insurance covering the value in respect of loss of or damage to the Shipment with an applicable premium. Shipment insurance does not cover indirect loss or damage, or loss or damage caused by delays. The premium is shown included in the delivery cost. The user has the option to remove this insurance at their own choice and, if so, the user is totally responsible for any loss or damage during shipment or transit.

Export

Where goods are supplied for export from the UK, any term or expression which is defined in the provisions of Incoterms shall import the respective obligations of buyer and seller into the Terms and Conditions and Policies. The provisions of this clause shall (subject to any special terms agreed in writing between GTO Parts and the customer) apply notwithstanding any other provision of the Terms and Conditions and Policies.

International shipping rates may vary depending on the country that we are shipping to. Typical transit time is between 5-10 business days, but very occasionally items can experience customs delay of several weeks.

Risk of loss and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You may be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information before purchase.

Additionally, when ordering from GTO Parts, you are the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Placing your export order with us means that you authorise us to designate a carrier to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise and advance (on your behalf) any duties and taxes owed by you. All prices are final.

Customers wishing to pay VAT in their own countries can, but on telephoned orders and orders requested by email only. We only ship to these customers once we have fully checked your VAT number and will only ship to the address relating to your VAT number. We reserve the right to cancel your order at anytime if you have provided us with incorrect or false information or VAT numbers. We also reserve the right to charge you 20% of the original total if we incur any costs with and or relating to cancelled orders resulting from the above aforementioned fraud, false information or fraudulent VAT numbers.
